財團法人臺灣博物館文教基金會

本會介紹

財團法人臺灣博物館文教基金會（Taiwan Museum Foundation）係依中華民國法律設立之非營利財團法人，並為文化部主管之政府捐助財團法人。本會成立於民國80年，前身為「財團法人臺灣省立博物館文教基金會」，民國90年更名為「財團法人臺灣博物館文教基金會」，並於民國109年在文化部協助下轉型為國內博物館中介組織。

本會以博物館教育與建築史知識推廣為兩大核心。博物館教育以提升博物館專業、發揮博物館社會使命及促進國際交流為宗旨，積極推動專業人才培育、國際交流與資源整合，搭建博物館資源共享及專業交流平臺，促進博物館與社會的連結，並深化國內外博物館之交流與合作。

建築史知識推廣方面，本會致力於臺灣建築歷史與文化之研究、典藏、展示及推廣，透過建築史料的研究、整理與加值運用，逐步建構臺灣建築文化的知識體系。同時藉由展覽、出版、教育推廣及專業交流等多元方式，促進建築文化的公共傳播，並積極推動國際交流與合作，拓展臺灣建築文化的國際連結與能見度。

The Taiwan Museum Foundation (TMF) is a non-profit foundation established under the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and a government-endowed foundation supervised by the Ministry of Culture.

The Foundation is dedicated to two core pillars: museum education and the promotion of architectural history. Regarding museum education, our mission is to support professional training, international exchange, and resource integration, while building a platform that connects museums with the public as well as domestic and international partners.

In the realm of architectural history, the Foundation is dedicated to the research, preservation, exhibition, and outreach of Taiwan’s architectural heritage . By studying and leveraging historical archives, we are systematically building a comprehensive knowledge system for Taiwanese architecture. Furthermore, through exhibitions, publications, educational programs, and professional exchanges, we aim to foster greater understanding and elevate the global visibility of Taiwan’s architectural culture.
